One suitcase journey pt.4

Day 5
For this day I was praying since my mom told me about this trip. This day was practically THE reason to survive everything before. This day was celebrated with fireworks(actually) like the Independence Day in America and I was as glad as Americans because this was the day I got MY independence. Basically I convinced my mom to have "a day off" from each other, because I knew beforehand how difficult this trip would be for the two of us. And today was the day when my dream was about to come true. And it did, no plot twist here, though in its' own different way. If you haven't read "One suitcase journey pt. 2" than go read it first to know how much my mom sucks at orienteering.

The day:
It was literally a miracle. We woke up pretty early, got ready and left the house. Then I got for an hour walk and back to the shopping center, where with the smallest number of people I bought something on sale. After a small shopping spree (I am a girl so deal with the shopping part:) I've spent nearly an hour talking with my friend and sharing the latest news off this blog-thing. Later on I got to some places I really wanted via metro (which I was SOOOO excited about!) and had lots of fun...
At 5 pm after one half of this day was over I had a thought:" Wow, this day is really fun, my mom only called me like one time and I saw some sick stuff.." And at THE EXACT same time this thought flashed through my mind I got a phone call from my mom. "Hi" - she said - "I'm not sure where I am, I've been walking in circles for an hour and have no idea where I am. I'll send you the address I'm at and you'll find how I can get to the "shoe street" okay, bye." It was not a problem for me to help her and it would only take like 2 minutes... so I googled the street she was at and my "maps" app kindly showed me a blue dot (which was equivalent to her location) OUTSIDE the city. It was actually so far from the place she thought she was that there was no way she could have gotten there by foot. I called her back: "Mom, maps can not locate you! You are freaking outside of the city! I have no idea where you are, please walk to the next street and tell me the other address because this is 100% wrong." "K"- was her reply to me- "I'll figure something out, I think I know where to go".
Now only God knows where she was and how she got to her "shoe street" but she came back home. And that's what's important. After our first day "walk" in the wrong direction (One Suitcase Journey pt.2) I nearly lost hope to see her getting back home herself. I was preparing myself to come wherever she was to take her back with me. But she did it and I'm very proud of my mom. So the lesson from this day probably is : believe in yourself and challenge your weaknesses to fight them, because only through a fight you can get a chance to win and overcome them.
Thanks for this day, thanks for this lesson, mom. I really love you, thanks for this weird ass trip:)
